XcroTrust (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates a mobile escrow payment platform that facilitates secure transactions between buyers and sellers. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our application and services.
By using XcroTrust, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this policy, please do not access or use our services.
1. Information We Collect
Personal Information
When you register for an account, we collect your full name, email address, and phone number. Identity verification is separate: if you choose to verify, we collect your date of birth and your BVN and/or NIN and submit them to our identity verification provider (Prembly). We do not collect government ID images, selfie or liveness captures, or any biometric data. Where you use a passkey, the biometric or screen-lock check happens on your device and is never transmitted to us.
Financial Information
We collect bank account details for processing payouts to sellers. Payment card details are entered on our payment provider's hosted checkout and are never seen, transmitted or stored by XcroTrust, and we do not offer saved cards. Funds for a transaction are collected through our payment processor and held against that transaction until it is released to the seller or refunded to the buyer. XcroTrust does not operate a wallet and does not hold a stored-value balance on your behalf.
Transaction Data
We record details of all escrow transactions including amounts, descriptions, timestamps, delivery confirmations, dispute records, and communications between parties.

We automatically collect device information (device type, operating system, unique device identifiers), IP address, browser type, usage patterns, and crash reports to improve our services and ensure security.
